No 21 Christmas 2023 Special Set

The warm golden aspects of this set come from findings from Istanbul, but also from gold-leaf I brought back from Thailand. Using the same technique the painter Gustav Klimt used to create his unbelievable gold effects on his paintings, I used 24k gold-plated leaf to gild meek black lava beads. Each bead looks like a small globe with unknown gold continents. The simplicity and classic timeless combination of gold and raven black had been created by using Onyx, Lava, and Agates, set into a base of rich 22k gold-plated findings from Istanbul.

The tiny, perfectly matching black & white Thunder Egg geode earrings are 7.2cm long.
