    Here comes another cultural melting pot for you: Pearls grown by Chinese pearl farmers, Moonstone mined in Sri Lanka, Cowrie shell from India, gold- and silver charms cast in a tiny workshop near Istanbul and Seoul.

    The slim carved bone pendant I bought from an Indian woman in Ubud who has married a  New Zealander, and of course the set is designed and strung by a German - Australian with Polish & Serbian heritage .

    I often do criss cross the world map in my head when I wear one of my pieces and ponder about the serendipity of all these pieces ending up in one necklace.
